Man dies after crashing into wire fence in Tambar Spring, NSW

A man has died when he crashed his motorcycle into a fence before being flung from the bike in NSW’s west.

Emergency services were called to Premer Rd, Tambar Spring, approximately 138km west from Tamworth, about 12.50pm after a single motorcycle crash.

Police arrived to find a 61-year-old man dead at the crash site.

“Police were told that the man allegedly collided with a wire fence and ejected from the motorcycle before he died at the scene,” police said.

It is believed that a white ute was in the area at the time of the incident.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
