Cops seek man in suspected hate-motivated threat against TTC driver

Toronto Police are seeking the public’s help in a suspected hate-motived threat involving a TTC operator.

Authorities say on Dec. 16, 2023, the victim was driving a TTC bus in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area when a man, who was allegedly disturbing other passengers, also allegedly threatened the driver using racial slurs.

The suspect is described as a male, 5-foot-7, with a birthmark below his left eye and wearing a white toque, black jacket and black pants at the time.
