(NewsNation) — Their ears are soft, their noses are wet, and their appetite for victory is ravenous.
Behind their sweet eyes and fluffy tails, 131 puppies are ready to play hard for the “Lombarky” trophy at the annual Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Team Ruff and Team Fluff go paw-to-paw during the call-to-adoption event on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
Puppy Bowl XX, a mock Super Bowl event, will feature 73 shelters and rescues across 36 states and territories. It’s slated to be the “puppiest” yet, with appearances from the all-time smallest pup, Sweetpea, at 1.7 lbs, and the biggest, Levi the Great Dane, at 70 lbs.

The showdown will include segments highlighting puppies and kittens from 14 shelters across the country that will be available for adoption throughout the game, which will break for the traditional Kitty Halftime Show.
Players will earn their producer chops, too, with the introduction of a referee point-of-view camera, slow-motion shots and the fan-favorite water bowl cam.
In celebration of the event’s 20th anniversary, Warner Bros. Discovery is partnering with the national animal welfare group Best Friends Animal Society by matching donations and covering adoption fees from Feb. 7-14.
