Woman peeing on TTC subway gets little reaction from other passengers

It was a soggy weekend in Toronto but things were even messier on the TTC.

Two very different but equally horrible incidents were filmed on the subway system including one woman who was caught on camera relieving herself inside the train.

The woman could be seen squatting by one of the doors as children and other passengers pass, some giving her a glance, others ignoring — or perhaps no longer seeing or caring? — what’s going on.

“Someone literally peed on the train today,” X user Alphanus posted on the social media platform, but added that another passenger warned him to stop recording her.

“Then this random guy told me not to film her because she’s a human being.”

He added: “Well, #TTC encouraged customers saying, ‘if you see something, say something.’ Everyone’s supposed to know how bad #publictransit is in #Canada.”

The train had just left Davisville station and was heading south to Union on Saturday afternoon, according to a follow-up post.

Many commenters slammed Alphanus for posting about it, with some calling him a “coward” and another feeling bad for the woman who might be suffering from a “medical condition.”

Others, however, were fine with the poster making it public.

“Bad behaviour shouldn’t be protected, it should be exposed.”

On Sunday, things got physical between two women, though the reason for the fight is unknown.

The viral video starts with the two already on the ground just outside a set of train doors.

The husband of one of the women breaks them up and shouts at the other, “That’s enough! My wife is pregnant,” to which her combatant replied, “I don’t give a s***.”

The man gestures for her to leave, saying, “Get the f*** out” before he and his wife board the train.

The woman is heard saying, “Next time I’ll kill you, b****,” as she slowly gets up and follows them onto the car.

Passersby glance at the commotion, but others on the platform just walk on by, with one man even stepping over one of the women while she’s still on the ground.

Comments on social media mentioned the fight and the TTC is a “circus,” others weighed in on how far Toronto has fallen.

“Toronto is disgusting now,” one person wrote. “I was born there and am so glad I left years ago.”

Another asked, “What has happened to our city? It is heartbreaking to me.”
