A 27-year-old man was charged with fraud and other offences and a police vehicle was allegedly struck after an attempted traffic stop in Scarborough.

Toronto Police said they tried to stop a vehicle on Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m. in the Kingston Rd.-St. Clair Ave E. area. The vehicle fled and struck another vehicle in the Kingston-Guildwood Parkway area and then struck a police vehicle with two officers inside in the Cumber Ave-Tivoli Crt. area.

The driver of the vehicle that fled was allegedly located and arrested, police said, adding no one was injured.
Peter Brady, 27, of no fixed address was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, fraud over $5,000, failing to stop for police, driving while prohibited, dangerous operation of a vehicle, obstructing a peace officer and other offences.
