Not for the first time, a violent gangbanger who fancied himself something of a rising rap star will be doing his warbling from behind concrete walls. A sour note, if you will.

Tyrel Hieu George Mahoney Nguyen, 24, of Surrey, B.C., was convicted of the 2017 murder of Randeep “Randy” Kang and university student Jagvir Singh Malhi. Prosecutors pointed out his lyrics — his rap name was T-Sav — and argued a music video was essentially a confession.

T-Sav was also convicted of the attempted murders of Kang’s brother Gary and associate Camilo Alonso.

“This was a complex investigation,” Sgt. Timothy Pierotti of B.C.’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team told reporters. “I’m incredibly proud of all those that worked on this investigation and persevered over the past seven years.”

Kang was clipped over a beef between notorious West Coast gangs — the Brothers Keepers and Red Scorpions. Malhi was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

The killer with a song in his heart has a Brothers Keepers tattoo on his chest. Cops said he was a contract killer for the gang, which has been name-checked in the lyrics for his My Life music video posted on YouTube.

He rapped: “Hop out the whip with a burner, b—-. Headshot. I’m dumping clips that’s plural s—.”

See ya in a couple of decades.

THE KIDS AREN’T ALL RIGHT

Mississauga teens Noah Annis and Alando Davidson, both 16, were shot to death last May in Pembroke of all places, which is about 150 km northwest of Ottawa. Now cops have said they’ve arrested a 17-year-old from Ottawa, who has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. A third 16-year-old, also from Mississauga, was seriously injured in the gunplay.

Cops called the homicides a targeted rub-out. A 21-year-old from Ottawa was busted days after the shocking double slaying and also hit with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder with a firearm.

Hmm, 17 is pretty close to legal age. Bump him up to adult court.

DEATH PENALTY

Star Oklahoma high school basketball star Madeline “Maddie” Bills was raped and murdered in the pool house of her family’s home on April 22, 2023. Now her ex-boyfriend is accused of the murder and prosecutors want Chace Cook, 20, to fry for the sickening crime. He is charged with rape and first-degree murder and is facing the death penalty.

“Our office filed a bill of particulars for the death penalty against defendant Chace Cook. The decision to seek the death penalty was not made lightly,” the district attorney’s office said in a news release. “After reviewing the evidence of the case and speaking to the family, it is our position that the death penalty is a fair and just punishment to seek in light of this defendant’s crimes. Our priority is to seek justice for Madeline Bills and our hearts go out to her family and friends as they continue to grieve.”

They called the gruesome slaying “especially heinous.” Bills told pals before her murder that she was terrified of Cook.
