The caller said that Morgan lived in a “shared apartment” and was “MIA.”
“I’m not sure if she’s in there or not, but she lives with animals. … I’m just worried about my tenant because she don’t have no one.”
The roommate, who last saw Morgan alive on Dec. 19, called 911 after hearing the sounds of a dog and two cats from behind the door.
“All along there wasn’t any stench, but just now there’s this strong, bad odour,” the caller said. “I’m just, like, worried.”
Morgan was found dead at her Florida home in Lake Worth Beach on Dec. 30. She was 69.
The actress reportedly died of “natural causes,” but authorities confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that they could not pinpoint when she died.

Morgan played the bombshell Lacey Underall opposite Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield in the 1980 golf comedy Caddyshack.
Prior to embarking on an acting career, Morgan worked as a weather forecaster, radio host, and DJ.
In a 2012 interview, Morgan said she auditioned for Caddyshack because she “had nothing to lose.”
“Caddyshack was my first film and I’ll say that the end product was so completely different,” she said at the time. “It was originally about the caddies. So at first, I had nothing to lose to audition. It was fun. All I did was focus on making the person sweat. Look ’em in the eye, do that thing many women know how to do.”
After the part Underall, Morgan appeared as Lora/Yori opposite Jeff Bridges in the 1982 sci-fi classic Tron. She also scored parts on the long-running soap opera Falcon Crest and Bring ‘Em Back Alive.
Her other acting roles included CHiPs, The Love Boat, Matlock, Hunter, The Larry Sanders Show, Galaxis, Dead Weekend, Out There and many more.
According to her IMDB page, Morgan’s most recent role was voicing Mason’s Mother in the 2022 indie film Face of the Trinity.
