It’s a new year, and according to Vogue beauty editors Arden Fanning Andrews and Margaux Anbouba, cold showers are in. For the first episode of 2024, they joined the pod to help Chioma and Chloe update their beauty and wellness routines. This is the year to double-cleanse your face using two different products—one to help remove makeup and sunblock, another to actually clean your skin (some of their favorites are by Orveda, Tatcha, and Pharrell’s brand, Humanrace)—and to chew your food more times than you’d think to (40 times, to be exact!).
The group also discusses the European Union’s glitter ban (it goes into effect in 2027) and how to use more “ethical glitter,” made from dissolvable materials; and Margaux and Arden predict that 2024 will be the year of blonde hair, like we’ve already seen on Rihanna, Sophie Turner, and Beyoncé. (This, they say, is a contrast to last year’s “Cherry Cola Red” hair trend.) Oh, and ribbons and hair bows will stick around, so tie one on, folks!
