Two youths and an 18-year-old from Mississauga have been charged following a fatal wintertime shooting in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said they received a 911 call on Jan. 3 advising of gunshots in the Battleford Rd.-Glen Erin Dr. area.

Police and emergency services responded and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local trauma centre where he later died.
The man was later identified as Sean Murphy, 26, of Mississauga.
Police charged three people on Sunday.

A young person from Mississauga was charged with second-degree murder while another young person from Mississauga was charged with accessory to murder after the fact. Neither can be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Luke Campbell, 18, of Mississauga, was charged with second-degree murder and breaching a court order.
