It’s been nearly three years since Katie Holmes’s Khaite bradigan briefly broke the internet, but founder Catherine Holstein has been keeping the sexy knitwear coming since. The New York brand has become a go-to for sculpting ribbed knits that fit tight to the body and look super flattering. The secret to why they look so good? Khaite’s necklines. Be they sweetheart, V-neck, or off-the-shoulder, Holstein knows a thing or two about making even the simplest of cuts look undeniably chic.
Naturally, Zoë Kravitz is a fully paid-up fan. Yesterday, the actor attended a press junket for The Batman wearing Khaite’s Matilda dress, which features an off-the-shoulder neckline that frames the décolletage. Kravitz posted a killer Instagram shot that showed off the dress and her tiny tattoos in all their glory.
The picture highlights her feline eye make-up and glossed lips, masterminded by Nina Park. Zoë’s hair, styled by Nikki Nelms, is swept back into a low bun, while nail artist Betina R Goldstein gave her a peppy red manicure to contrast her black top.
Kravitz’s Batman predecessor Halle Berry, who played Catwoman in the 2004 film, dispensed some words of encouragement for Kravitz in a recent interview: “I think she’s going to be an amazing Catwoman. I can’t wait to see what her interpretation of that is.” Watch this space.
