A Woolworths employee has died at a supermarket in Jesmond, near Newcastle.
The female staff member was reported injured at the Blue Gum Rd supermarket about 7.30am on Friday morning.
Paramedics said the woman had suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

Police say initial inquiries suggest there are no suspicious circumstances.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
