Toronto Police are looking for help to identify a woman wanted in an attack on another woman in the city’s east end.
On Sunday at 9 a.m., police say a 62-year-old woman was walking westbound on the north sidewalk of Danforth Ave., just west of Rhodes Ave., when she was attacked without warning by a woman.
The attacked used both hands to knock the victim to the ground and then fled, cops say.
The victim was treated in hospital for “life-altering injuries.”
The wanted woman is described as between 30 to 40 years old with dark hair and was wearing a white hooded sweater under a yellow puffy jacket, blue jeans, and orange running shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
