The news comes just after the announcement that Thorne, who first gained a following for her role in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up, will be hosting the re-launched Taormina Film Festival in Italy from June 24 through July 1. There, some of the biggest stars in the world will showcase their short films and personal projects.

The bride-to-be is envisioning a countryside wedding at a manor in the United Kingdom and has already started thinking about what she will wear. Thorne’s style has matured a lot since her Disney days, and she has her eye on vintage Schiaparelli or Dior for her wedding wardrobe. “Every bride does not need one gown,” Thorne says, “but four!” Now that’s a fashion-forward approach to bridal style we can get behind.
